We often start off Smarter Start workshops by asking participants to draw on a piece of paper a sketch of what an apple sliced in half looks like. More often than not, they will draw something similar to the apple shown on the right. There is nothing wrong with that. However, if you click on the picture you will see that slicing the apple horizontally, rather than vertically, reveals something completely different.
